AMD with two solutions for running 4K, nVidia has one. I assume nVidia will make a single slot dual GPU card soon with enough ram for 4K textures and improve three card SLI efficiency.
nVidia researching super sampling so lower resolutions look better as opposed researching maximizing throughput and ram sizes for 4K
When Apple tested available chips to push 5K on the iMac there was no contest
I will say nVidia is probably smarter going for the mass market. 4K will not make them any more money for a while.
Living where I do may skew my views a bit. I can see the Tesla plant from my bedroom window.
GhostRyder, what is hard to run? My twin 290x's have been trouble free aside from some Windows and in game scaling - but that is not the cards.
