if you are worried about your amd mobo dont look bling you can do 4 things

1 - get a new northbridge cooler along with some impressive cooling for the whole system
2 - get a case without a window
3 - nothing
4 - go and buy an intel mobo, an intel cpu and stop bother with amd

TBH i wouldnt use the stock Chipset cooling even if it was enhanced looking from the manufacturer, there is always room for improvement when you get a board, whether putting better caps, chokes, etc on it or Heatsinks. that is My personal Preference

No no, people just have an ugly habit of basing every thing on looks. Shouldn't matter if the mobo looks good or not the thing the needs to be able to post and do its job, thing is useless if you buy it for looks and doesn't work, and in the end if you really want you can add fans, coolers all kinda extra stuff or go off and mod the case...

you can buy all sorts of nb coolers, pipes, cpu coolers, ram coolers, etc... to make a motherboard look beastly, and get pretty good performance out of it.

Ha I've lived in Washington State all my life and its always been pop. I dated this girl about a month ago who had just moved up here from California and every time I said pop she corrected me saying that it is called Soda lol

Anyways I don't think its that AMD boards look weak. I just think that companies like to add a bunch of bells and whistles to the high end Intel boards so you will pay the $300 price for it.

I've got an Intel X38 board and it's got copper spread all over it. Thing is even when overclocked it doesn't even start to get warm. I think it's all a bit unnecessary but it does look good!
