I used a PCPower&Cooling 750 quad with my tri-fire setup and a fully OC'd system. It perfromed very well and I would highly suggest getting one.:)

I don't think 750 watts will be enough with everything I have running on my 700 now.

Actually your system isnt actually using close to 700 watts now, my guess is the 12V rails dont have enough amps for the 3 3870s and the CPU... I worked out your power usage on the PSU calculator (not the most accurate thing but it gives a rough estimate), it came out with 453W with all the stuff you listed and 2 3870s... a third 3870 would add about another ~80-100W I think. Basically I reckon you just need a PSU with more amps on the 12V rail, like the PC power & cooling 750W that erocker mentioned... What are the 12V rails on your current PSU?

It has 4 different 18A 12V rails. Having multiple rails instead one large one usually isn't a problem with ATi setups but it can give NV setups fits because of the amperage that each card needs. I already took my chances with multiple 12V rail PSUs b4 ppl didn't know that they had major problems with SLI configs. I don't see why they wouldn't have problems with CF either.

Ok got it running...

On my modular PSU there are 2-6 pin outlets that are red and there are 2 cables with a 6 pin connector on each end and one of them is red. So I thought those were used with video cards. Guess I was wrong, but not sure what they are for. I plugged the 3rd card into one of the reg. plugs and all works great.

The Rocketfish will have all the gear on the inside. Somehow....

Just thought it out and threw it together...

The rads. are mounted on aluminum bars cut and bent and bolted on a angle from the back of the case.

Its idling on stock cooling @ 62c
The other 2 cards on water Idle @ 30c
