So the guys are getting tired of FPS games all the time so I'm looking for an rts for our next lan party. The requirements are that it requires less than 1 ghz (preferably less than 733), it supports lan to up to 8 players (16+ preferable), and that it dosen't include economy-just you have this much money go buy your units and attack. I've tried mechcommander but it dosen't support lan and the internet gaming dosen't work to well for me, but I'm looking for a game similar to that. Thanks in advance for your help!

War3 would BARELY run, at absolute minimum settings, and with that many players it wouldn't..
Yes normally you build, but you could make a few maps or even download some that you wouldn't have to.

Yep. All of the above mentioned can be ran but only with lagging and you will hate that except for starcraft.

if it was a 2ghz minimum you might be in luck..but I don't see much being willing to run (esp. LAN multiplayer) on 1ghz..
