You do know that 2008 Standard keys work on Enterprise as well right? My legal, fully paid-for key of Server 2008 Standard Edition also allows me to install Enterprise.

Did not know that, doesn't mean it make it legal though. Licensing for Enterprise is about 4x the price of standard. So if it is a legal key I'd recommend downgrading before the company gets invaded by MBI agents (Microsoft Bureau of Investigation).
In fact, can you even activate with that key? You can install any edition without any key at all.
Mine's activated perfectly fine.

Silly MicrosoftGoing through so much trouble with their licensing and then making this so easy. On the other hand, most people won't have a $1K license in the first place. Strange practice though.
