HD 720p 7" MP4 player

Hey guys.

I am looking for an MP4 player, But I also want a great one!
I see only a hand full of HD MP4 players and I am wondering if any of them would be worth buying?

I plan on buying this one:

It will cost me 120 euros which is pretty pricey.
What do you guys think of it??

There are no portable 720p MP4 players...if you read the specs on that player, the screen is only 800x480...that isn't even 16:9.

It doesn't matter if you play HD 720p content or SD 480p content, it is going to look the same on that screen.

with a screen res of only 480 x 272 the cowon o2 is not hd nd neither is the a3 wit 800x480

maybe it can output hd I don't know but the screens are not big enough to justify hd on them

so he wants a PMP to have a screen size of 7" and plus play HD Files? Ha! no player does that cept Archos new PMPs Archos 5/7 which you HAVE to pay extra for Codec support.

no not at all. still the COWON O2 is the best of the best when it comes to playing Video and Music. i'd recommend he look at it. also, the O2 has the best Battery Life out of ANY PMP as of now!

now, if he wanted something that's portable and can last for HOURS playing Video AND Music i'd look at the S9. the S9 has a Battery Life that is UNREAL! though again. the O2 is more for Video but the screen of the S9 is better.

Not HD but why would you want HD on such a small screen? You probably wont notice the difference between HD and a high quality SD movie on a screen that size.

Archos 705 - 7" 800x480 Screen, 80GB, WiFi - €229; 160GB version for €299.

Oh, and don't buy ANYTHING from Hong Kong on eBay, they're just scum of the earth who are there to rip you off with stuff that is cheaper than a cheap hooker that will break easily.

I have just read about Cowon S9 and it sounds very impressive!
I can get one for 150 from USA at the cheapest which sound good to me!

This new BBE sound feature sounds pretty good?? is it really that good or is it just a neat feature!

At the moment, this MP4 player is on my wish list!

hey, i'm just stating facts here that i know of ok? Cowon is one of the better companies. actually from what i read in the title, i thought the user was also meaning to play TV-Out as well. so, Cowon O2 came to my mind. i was also giving him other options.

you have to have $$$ Headphones to REALLY hear it! when you do it will blow your ears off your head :laugh:

really though, the good thing is that the S9's UCI is custom which means if you are good in Image programming you'll be able to create your on Themes

Go HERE to the S9 Forums and Team Up! the S9 is an Awesome DAP. I have the COWON D2 which is also nice. another thing, COWON actually unlike other companies focuses on there old and new products by providing awesome Firmware Updates. these Updates Adds New Features and yes... Fixes Issues.

the Battery Life is awful on the thing though. though the GUI is smooth. still i wouldn't buy it.

I havent had any problems with my 30gb or my 120gb zune... have others? I run every morning for an hour and it last with more power to spare. I can get a coplue of hours out of them

MS went with Lithium Polymer batteries on the ZuneHD... should get pretty good battery life.

However, the cowon O2 does play mkv where the other I'm not sure...

I will stick with the Cowon S9!! looks and sounds impressive!
Now I am looking for earphones, some great earphones are very expensive!! more expensive than the Cowon S9!!!

I want something great! but not so expensive

I checked out the Sennheiser IE7 and they seem good. But are they worth the cash?

It will cost around 125-150 Euros which is about 200-230 USD.

It might be possible to get it cheaper on ebay if your lucky!

I also don't like the size

The reason I'm really liking it is because of the custom themes, there are already alot posted on the forums too, still im wondering, does it have a internet browser
