The X850XT blows the X1600XT out of the water. The 4x3 pipeline configuration cripples the card.

I almost bought this exact card, but instead upgraded to PCI-E: X800GTO AGP

A x1600xtx can not keep its own with an 850xt an 800 perhaps you ment a 9800xt that must be it
just kidding it can almost hang with it if you have the xt but lets see 2x for crossfire wont run with a 1900xt 256 so why did you spend that much money?

Yes, your comparing all these with TWO x1600xt's. This thread IS about AGP, and you cant exactly get corssfire in AGP. so can we please talk about ONE card here.

this card can be overclocked to near 7600gt specs and has shader 3.0 for 114.00 dollars its a steal

Im an ati guy but the 7600gs cards are very good agp cards bang for the buck wise

If you can do without shader 3.0 this is a good ati based card

If I recall correctly (yeah, like that's gonna happen ) the 7600GS in pretty much en par with x800gt.. And to overclock the ass out of it you have to voltmod.

the core can almost always reach gt speeds the ram will hold you back some however, and its a very good card most people who review it will tell you its can play almost every game out there at moderate to high settings.
