I'm waiting for the Nvidia release, so that I can catch one used from all the people who bought ATi just to hold over for GT300.

I'm packing up my 4870 after I finish my HW tonight and back to Newegg it goes! I'm dying for a 5770, quiet, cool, small(er) form factor, less power draw, DX11, etc.

I'm waiting for NVIDIA...

But most likely, not for GT300.
I'm waiting for price wars...

Right now AMD/ATI very much owns the high end market and prices are... monopolistic.
I mean... 300 GBP for 5870 ?
I want it... but I'm not that crazy (yet) :)

Cheers,

Perfectly happy with my 4870X2, maybe, if it dies; might go for a dual 59 or equiv.

Or, when I build a new system after the new year rolls in.

I'll get a new card when I get a 30inch monitor. I dont see any point in going further than my 4870 until my resolution can go up. I'm not crazy I don't think. Believe me it's tempting!! New build for BC2 in the spring maybe?

thats only a small list............only 5000 series on it for ati. I will be goin crossfire with another 4890. as dx11 is not mainstream yet and wont be for awhile imo

Although i am waiting for the 5870x2/5900 performance and price points. If they are around £300 i will grab one.

I'd advise to move to Moscow :toast:

But I'm afraid it's hardly possible.

ATM iv'e got a 8400GS:eek: its so bad but at least i can run my computer

Im thinking since my MB is asus p5q pro with CF support im going to try using 8400gs as physics card to help with the HD5850, wonder how it will work? give me your suggestions as i thnk i can can get a driver/sotfware hack that will enable me to do this.

Not that I would enforce anything but judging from how good things are , too good , it's not worth waiting until december , since CODMW2 comes way soon , you should be ready with a new card.

The facts speak for their self , there is no even a confirmation if it will be december. There is no certainity if even this year, remember the conference:rolleyes:

The problem will probably be with asus , not that I would say this to take the blame away from the red side , but you'll probably be better going with HIS or Sapphire , way better , indeed , Asus makes too much of things and doesn't specifies for a single product , many things are rebranded(don't hold my word on that please)

Plus you get a gamers tool kit with HIS that's really something I would go for HIS over sapphire (sapphire ain't bad but the HD5870 CGI gamer girl paint job is a bit disappointing , cause the 5850 one is better :D)

I think the NVIDIA vote is not fair...

some peoples will wait for NVIDIA to buy NVIDIA product
some peoples will wait for NVIDIA to compare and select the best for them

at first guess the second type will vote for this options, but guys will assume they will be waiting to buy NV product not to compare

even if the option is added I think it wont be fair as how we can know what the peoples already voted for that option why they voted...
the vote must be reset for that purpose if you wont to make it fair...

I refuse to vote coz of this...
