I always bought my pc games locally from Best Buy and CompUSA but CompUSA closed and Best Buy has a real krappy selection. I have even found a few at WalMart but not many good ones.
When a new game comes out, IF these stores have a PC version, it is usually sold out the first day if it's a hot game. They always have a good selection of console games, but not pc games. PSP and Xbox games are in abundance.
WHY IS THAT???? It must not be profitable for these stores to carry much for pcs.
No one at the store could answer that question for me.
So, where do you guys buy your games? Online?
I don't want to d/l games, I want a hard copy CD in my hands.
Is Tiger Direct or NewEgg the place to buy from?
I know Battlefield 2 is coming out real soon and I want a hard copy.
