Hello! I'm new to the forms and like what i have seen so i thought i would give it a try.

I'm looking for a nice socket 775 gaming motherboard and a water cooling system to cool both my CPU and GPU. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

A budget, and possibly a list of parts you already have for the build will help us to help you better;)

I guess I did leave that out, my bad. Its been a long day at work.

I currently have a Antec nine hundred two case
750 sli cert psu. (Can't remeber the brand off the top of my head)
Pny 250 gs signature series video card
Intel quad core cpu
Intel micro atx mobo. The board is out of a hp dx2400 pc.
4gigs of patriot viper series 2 ddr2 ram

2- 200gig hdd
1- 100gig hdd

As far as the budget goes, I'm looking to spend around $350 if that's possable.

Thanks Again!

one last question, are you opposed to used parts, or are you looking for new goodies?

Also be aware you will possibly need an OS as well, the motherboard swap may cause your OS some issues trying to boot after the swap.

I would go with either a gigabyte EP45 UD3-P or UD3-R or an asus maximus 2 formula they are the 2 best performing 775 boards. you may have to buy used simply because 775 is EOL. watercooling: watercool heatkiller 3.0 swiftech 320 rad or better, laing D5 pump or the mcp 355 swiftech micro res or the res of your choice. tygon 1/2 id tubing and some nice 1/2 barbs. nuff said

i have one of those, if u plan on overclocking it's not gonna help too much. the parts overclocking101 suggested for your loop, would be a much better decision.
