GeForce GTS 450 Gets Listed on US Store, Reference Clock Model Pegged at $129.99

I use a TR2 450w that can power an overclocked x4 620 and a 5850 so most definitely.

Cool, i will pick up my 450 before the end of this month :)

Ya know there will be price drops come ATI 6 series soon. It be better to wait, get 2 460s cheap, then have 480/5870 performance. Or if you can't wait, get the one 460 now then get another when the prices drop.

Hmm .. I dont think that will be much of an upgrade going from a 9800GT (similar to a HD4830 --> HD4870 upgrade) ... only possitives that I can see are ...
* will consume less power (probably)
* Less heat
* DX11
* more CUDA cores
* overclocking headroom (40nm)

Its best if you can get a GTX460 instead ... only prob I see is your low end processor bottlenecking the VGA since you game @ low res ... just my 2c

I wonder how high it would go with both mem and core OC'd at maximum.

got mine to 975/1026 :toast:

But the 460 is too expensive. Trying to save some money here dude.
