So i recently bought the ASUS GTX 570 Direct CUII and i was wondering should get the driver update from the official Nvidia website or should i get it from the ASUS site. Also unlike the reference card this card has an 8 pin and 6 pin instead of 2, 6 pin connectors and i heard specialty cards like this it is better to download from the manufacturer

wait apparently there are no drivers on the ASUS website unless im missing something

Just grab the latest from Nvidia's site. Even if Asus had some on their site, the ones on Nvidia's site, would more than likely be more up to date anyways.

Wait guys im totally new to building computers and i have one question actually two that have to do with drivers.

1)Do i only need to download the newest driver or the previous ones as well

2)Is it better to use drivers that are in beta or the normal ones

1.) You only need the latest drivers.

2.) Generally the normal(WHQL) driver is the best to use, unless the Beta driver addresses an issue you are experiencing.

yap, just grap the newest driver from nvidia's site and u should be fine ^^

i am using 275.33 for my own EVGA GeForce GTX 570 so it should work for ur Asus ENGTX570 DCII/2DIS/1280MD5

Just use the latest from Nvidia website.

Just use the latest from Nvidia website.

yeah, just visit nvidia website then you just choose what driver type (GTX 570, GTX 460 and so) and choose your OS then download it
better you use stable version than beta ;)

latest beta is 275.27 and the lastes WHQL is 275.33 why beta driver than?

Technically, the latest betas are 275.36, but those aren't directly available on nVidia's site.;)

Edit: Wait, those are actually WHQL drivers...:o

I don't touch Nvidia beta drivers. Unless things have changed in the past few months those have caused me tons of problems in the past.
