Yes but not going to be buying right away. Think I'll be doing the same exact thing I did with the previous Battlefield games. Wait awhile until after their release to buy them, play single player first and then multiplayer.

EDIT: I wouldn't mind playing Battlefield 3 and the other Battlefield games with the rest of TPU.

already bought (pre-ordered), I will play with TPU members maybe but the ping is a little higher, last time I played though in BFBC2 on one of the TPU servers the hits registered ok so I'll definitely give ita go.

Preordered in January, cancelled since apparently it was digital only, re-preordered for a boxed copy when Origin fired up and had to pay MORE with tax... :banghead:

I'd love to play with TPU'ers but I'm 99% sure I'll be playing hardcore only and most didn't ever play HC for BC2 so I lone wolfed it most of the time.

It is open to all but not everyone will be invited, MoH and people who have special pre orders are garunteed a spot though I think. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the beta is only 48 hours from release so not such a big deal.

Which If I remember correctly gives about 3 weeks of time to play, assuming the beta lasts until launch. Logically, probably closer to a week and a half or so.

Should have been in during the first Bad Company. Lot better balanced MP IMO. No cheatin kill cam or story copied from MW. Vehicles could actually climb anthills without stalling. Then artillery fire and guided bomb drop...I miss them. Ya good tank drivers could avoid a bomb drop but if you tagged one but aimed for the buddy, boom! Good times. Shame it turned into a cesspool of spawn camping and hacking in the end. Course it just goes to show that consoles are not free of hackers by a long shot.

Preordered BF3 via...ugggg...Origin. Best preorder package deal aside from Gamestop. Least this way, I get in beta.
