Havik 140 with Vengeance RAM?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone else has this setup.

ASRock Z68 Extreme 4 + Corsair Vengeance RAM on all 4 slots + Havik 140 cooler?

Possible? Stupid me bought Vengeance sticks a while back.

The clearance on the havik 140 is pretty bad,look like it may be a tight fit

well, not talking about clearance, but does it "reach" the RAM slots?

Corsair vengeance LP will fit and are allmost the same as the regulair vengeance

Technically it would be the fans that would "reach" the RAM slots. Maybe there would be 1-2mm clearance?

Well, looks like there is 1-2mm clearance...if the RAM have no heatsinks.

yes of course it is the fans that reach the RAM slots.

i was thinking that the position of RAM slots differed slightly from motherboard to motherboard. is this not the case? then it seems like it would fit.

wait. all those are 6 slots motherboards. any idea about 4 slots? i mean, common sense makes you think that it would fit in 4 slot mobo, but you never know. maybe the slot positioning (how fast it is from the CPU) is different.

I would think the first slot would be covered by the fan. Just roughly estimating the distance of the first slot from the CPU socket of the Asrock board though.
