this laptop seems kinda dead (no charger, batteries not charged for at least a year) i might just end up parting it out.

the full model is dv6304tx

i have the option to find a power brick for it and see if i can make it work (apparently it can it can sit in the BIOS for hours, but crashes after hitting windows - faulty GPU at load clocks?)

or just scrap it and give out the parts

edit: original specs, atm it has no hard drive and 2x512 ddr2 ram

My sister has the exact same laptop and she had the same problem. What fixed it for her was reinstalling windows on a diffrent drive

apparently the laptop was dropped onto concrete and killed hte original hard drive, so its possible its just damaged. maybe it needs an oven bake XD

Plug the hard drive into your rig and check to see if it works

its not the drive, that was tested a while back. cant test anything til i get a power brick for it.

Hey guys I am in need of a good ide hard drive. Needs to be 120 gig or larger and has to be IDE. This is for a project I am doing involving a cd burner encloser.
