Evga z77 ftw $92.99 wtf?!?

Wow...but I'm a mini-itx man right now. :)

apparently BIOS is the reason these boards are so low in price. googled stuff and found that earlier BIOSes were buggy, but the 1.10 seems to have sorted most of these problems. I dont o/c much anyways and plan on dropping a 3570K into it and leave it at stock.

Also why is there a 6 pin power connector ( near top pci e slot by I/O connector area) on the board in addition to the 8 pin at the top?

the 1st user review listed is from Oct 24 and its says " Pros: 1. Cool looking board/ LEDs with FANTASTIC PRICE!!!" so im pretty sure this price is correct. BIOS can only get better as time goes on too.

Supplies additional power when using multiple PCIe videocards. Usually this is a 4 pin molex, but higher end boards now use the 6pin PCIe (more power can be delivered, don't have to use an ugly molex plug with 2 other molex plugs hanging off it, etc).

Then it would say that.

That's very cheap.
Always leads to the assumption....'what's the catch'.

Hopefully it is a good board though.

It's probably for parts or not working.

how do you sell a motherboard for parts and/or not working at all? Like I just posted, the review from 2 days ago (Oct 24th) said that the board was great and at a "FANTASTIC PRICE".

It's $199 in the US on Newegg, combo deal with 3770k is $400!

Will they ship to the US????

no idea, I've only used newegg.ca a few times and i'm also based in Canada.

I would buy that for that price and replace my p67 board

I wonder how much the shipping to USA would be though.

Cant any more. It is out of stock. Newegg canada also asks me to put in a canadian address

So it's canada exclusive only? Oh well.

Please, I was about to order this board last week, but learned it was a FAIL. That's why prices DECLINE.

Do whatever you want! :)

with the latest BIOS, it seems to be much better than it was at release. Im sure a stock setup would run on this fine and worst comes to worst i send it back to newegg if it doesnt work.

Note that it is an E-ATX board, so you'll need a case that can fit it. Just in case you didn't catch that.

I'm guessing it is a pricing mistake, but newegg is so automated it is likely that the board will ship before anyone catches it. But yeah, if they catch it, they will just cancel the order.

This. It seems as though EVGA has had a lot of problems with their z77 and x79 boards. IIRC, the first ones were frying CPU's. No wonder newegg is trying to off these.

Evga z77 ftw

does this board support Crossfire? i only see an SLI marking on the mobo, but if memory serves correct z68/z77 supports both.

Of course support SLI/CF. PCI-E Slot 1 for single card x16 PCI-E 3.0.
Slot 2 (x16) and Slot 4(x16) for PCI-E 3.0 SLI/CF working in x16 Mode with second PCI-E 6 pin connector.

No matter what and what people say for 10-15 years when ask me for some motherboard I will say I loved EVGA Z77 FTW most of all motherboards I have.
She's nearest to my heart and I am happy every morning when I look her LED, look fantastic but I would feel same for X79 FTW too.

Not only last BIOS. Last 2-3 BIOS is better but last is best. Why only stock option, this board is fantastic for CPU OC. Most of problems are with 4 DIMMS 2400MHz, 2660MHz DDR3 RAM.
But some of 2x8GB Modules work over 2200MHz same like 2x2GB, 2x4GB and slower RAM with tighter latency. BIOS Update Improvement will continue...

if the bios is stable, ill o/c the 3570K im planning to drop in this.

Have you gotten a order confirmation yet? Shipped?

That is a smoking deal if it goes through.
