Hello everyone. I was thinking about replacing my gaming rig with something a bit more power and space efficient. Sort of a HTPC/Office rig.

After some thinking I came up with this:
Code:
[B]Case[/B]: [URL="https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0064LWISQ/ref=cm_sw_su_dp"]Antec ISK110-VESA[/URL]
[B]MB[/B]: [URL="https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007RQ0LQI/ref=cm_sw_su_dp"]ASRock H77M-ITX[/URL]
[B]CPU[/B]: [URL="https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0093H8JCM/ref=cm_sw_su_dp"]Intel Core i3-3220T[/URL]
Now, I was already finishing my order when I found out that AMD are rolling out their new power efficient A-series processors this year. So, I'm curious - is it worth waiting for those 35W=< desktop APUs or should I just stick with what I picked? Maybe my build needs some improvements?

Buy an intel NUC, job done.

His build has the advantage that the i3-3220T is far faster (2.8Ghz vs 1.7GHz), the Antec ISK has space for two real 2.5" HDDs, and he can always upgrade to a 65w i5 or i7 should the need arise.

Except that a NUC fulfils the two requirements that the OP wants better.

Compared to nearly any gaming system, the Antec ISK is very small--I've used one. And the 3220T is still a very low-power CPU--yes, not quite the 17w of the i3U, but still again a big improvement from a traditional gaming CPU.

Just depends how power efficient and small the OP wants to go really.

Well, I want a reasonably small and power efficient system. Suppose I should've mentioned that I want it to be fully customizable as well.

So, in brief, screw AMD, go for Intel?
