My last dealings with MSI product left me feeling skeptical about their CS. I bought a 660 Ti PE OC that apparently had some odd compat quirk with my display. It wouldn't recognize my Panasonic 32" HDTV as HDCP capable, even though it is, and I got BSOD when switching between TV and PC inputs. They admitted in a Newgg product comment that it may have been defective, yet implied my system must be messed up.
Strange that the GTS 250 I had prior and the 7970 I have now have no such problems. Messed up system, nope. Messed up MSI CS. On the phone they never offered to RMA it and it took several calls because I kept getting different opinions from each tech. Furthermore I had to reiterate the symptoms every call because they never generated a support ticket, and that's without any toll free line to call on.
A lot of people talk crap about ASUS support lately, but MSI have really slipped a lot IMO.
