which gtx 780 card should i get?

im going to get a new card in two months so which of these should i get?

Check the review section.

The Asus card has a higher clock. Both coolers work well. Both have a 3 year warranty. Everything else about the cards are the same.

Supposedly the Asus has no coil whine and their vrm heatsink design will be more compatible with after market cooling should the need arise. On the other hand the evga is reference so the no throttle bios should work on it.

It may have unlocked voltage, which is a huge advantage over every other 780 for sale today.

That's pretty difficult to choose, since both are good brands. Though I would get the Asus one, since it has the "DIGI+VRM" voltage controller (supposedly "CHiL") which supports I2C voltage control or advanced monitoring which means potentially higher overclocks. Also the Asus GTX 780 has a better (lower) load temperature and OC according Techpowerup's review.

The EVGA's GTX 780 with ACX VGA fan only makes use of OnSemi NCP4206 voltage controller which doesn't support I2C voltage control. Not a bad GTX 780 at all, but if you can spend a bit more, the Asus one is better because of better cooling and I2C voltage control.

thanks for the replies its all good, I'm leaning toward the asus card because of the digi+vrm plus it has a backplate. i have about 350 saved and i'll have the rest in two months cant wait hehe.
