I like the looks and size of the LIAN LI PC-V355B Black Aluminum MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case (sort of expensive but not too bad).
This should look great under my 32" LG LCD tv. I have used a ATXl tower for a week in that room and everything works great with that tv but the tower is just out of place, too big and ugly for my taste.

I have a 58" Samsung PLASMA in the same room, different wall, far away.

I want to run a EVGA reference GTX 670 card in this mimi.
CPU will be a Intel i5-2500K as I already own a couple of them.

So, I'll need a good PS, a mobo, not sure about a cooler as not o'clocking this machine.

Any suggestions as to some quality parts I should be looking at?
I'm totally new to minis.:toast:

AT the moment I am using an AMD 5000+

Also, what's your budget, and what features do you need (wireless, number of usb/sata ports, expansion slots, integrated audio quality, etc)?

FIrst and formost I USE THIS TO CHECK E-MAIL, POP OFF A MS WORD DOCUMENT, PLAY COD BOs 2 and Ferrari. F1 2012, Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 and Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends. This is not a real gaming machine, just something to use when I'm too lazy to walk to the other end of the house.

AT the moment I am using an overclocked AMD 5000+ cpu with a Sapphire 4870 2 GB card ( I absolutely love this gpu) and all works very well. As I said though, I'm changing them put for a Nvidia EVGA GTX 670 but don't knpw what to buy for a mobo or ram, and PS.
want to stuff this mini pc under the wrought iron table you see in the first picture. It can't be longer than say 15"
I don't like the looks of a flat pc, I want a cube style.

Budget? I'll spend no matter... within reason, for the right High Ouality items.
I do try and strive for quality components.
I'm not a millionaire but I am not broke my any means.
I try to be reasonable and smart when I buy.
Even used parts are ok if I trust the persom I am dealing with.

Bs, old plasma yes but newer gen plasmas are not an issue in this day and age so game away. I've been using a plasma for the last 2 yrs and have no burn in or ghosting and I leave games paused some times for hrs.

Anyone?
So, I'll need a good PowerSupply that will fit with sleeved cables, a mobo "not sure on this one at all but would like one that will be future updragable for a more modern Intel cpu" later on, not sure about a cooler as I'm not o'clocking this machine.
Any suggestions as to some quality parts I should be looking at that would look good sitting under the 32" tv and perform great? I may be upgrading that 32" to a 40" LG too.
Thank guys, you're all the best.

I have to agree witrh you on the Plasma, mine is awesome. Zero burn in at all.
But it's in the wrong spot in the room fpr pc gaming.
It dpes look fantastic thpoug,I tried it out. But I hid all the wiring in the wal upon installation a few tears ago. Way too much hassle to move it all over.

So I have to stick with the other wall (I will hide that wiring too later.
I'm going to love this project.

I have to very much disagree with you bro.
Depends on a lot of things but my Samsung is biult for gaming, it's a fantastic HDTV.
It ought to be, it cost me $3500.00 a few years ago.
It does pixel shift among othet things like total whitewash, etc. just in case.

For a case I think the Prodigy is excellent to work with. Kind of a PITA with the power supply but is nice size and will accent your living room very nicely

BitFenix Prodigy Midnight Black / Black Steel / Pl...

For the motherboard hands down one of the best boards I have ever owned is the AsRock Z77E-ITX! Full of overclocking features and solid as a rock

ASRock Z77E-ITX LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s...

For the Prodigy you'll want a full modular power supply and the Seasonic X series are a superb power supply. The X650 will be plenty enough power supply for a single video card application.

SeaSonic X Series X650 Gold ((SS-650KM Active PFC ...

Wasn't sure when I first received the Prodigy case if I was going to like it or not. Other than having a fight with a semi modular power supply the case was very nice and easy to build in. Price wise it is very decent compared to Silverstone and Lian Li.
I would guess that the Prodigy is about half the size of the tower you are showing in the picture and would fit quite nicely under the stand.
