Ok who is buying Titanfall?

looks ok. i played ok. but i will wait until it is on sale after few months

Yea, I don't know? I really enjoyed the demo, but I think it will get boring really quick if they don't open it up to more players than 6v6. I checked the pre-order on Origins and they the Standard edition for $59.99 and the Premium Edition with the Titanfall Premium service for $79. I really hate these new premium packages for every new game..

6v6
Not interested.

EA can suck it. I guess they have to charge so much for the amount of advertising they've done for this game.

Yea, EA seems to screw up everything they touch.. hehe

Not interested, mainly because there's a lot better games out there imo I haven't played yet. and coming out, like Dark Souls 2.. Also Titanfall looks just like another COD so I will be avoiding those kinds of games like the plague. I barely bought BF4(and bought it late) and I will definitely not buy this one..

who knows? it runs on the source engine, perhaps source modders could port it into Garry's Mod and imitate the whole gameplay and tada! I could play it for free.. Any free game is a good game

I will buy it when it is on sale for $5. Usually by then all of the kids have moved on to something else and I can enjoy playing it without getting owned.

I plan on buying it. I thoroughly enjoyed the beta so I would definitely like to purchase it sometime next month. Need to upgrade the GPU first.

Wasn't that impressed overall. the parkour was fun for a while, but i've just watched TotalBiscuits wtf is titanfall video and im still not impressed. its still CoD underneath despite being a different engine and based on a different ip.

Lack of game types
Lack of real players
Lack of Hi-Res/HD textures
Price of the game is too expensive for what it is.
total price of the game including premium too expensive for what it is.
EA be charging for map packs when theyre released - buying expansion packs is one thing, but map packs should be free imo

However if the game is open to the community for modding then i will definitely pick up the game. I had a lot of fun on servers running custom maps during the cod4 days.

::EDIT::

Oh and another reason why im not going to buy it straight away - martyrdom... they bought back martydom

if i could afford the $60 i would play on launch day, but alas i haz no monies atm :banghead:

Ill get it once they get rid of the bots and increase the players to 8 vs 8 or up to 16 vs 16, and the likely hood of that happening is very small.

Mindweaver - I think you should add an option in the poll for people who wont be buying the game straight away but later when the game (and its community) has matured a little

I will most likely end up buying it when it is on sale. I am not in any hurry at this point.

Same here. 6v6 is extremely limited. Plus the graphics don't look like a giant leap on the PC, just a port from the xbox one.

I preordered the Collector's Edition

The beta grew on me the more I played it, even though I had some issues with my dual card systems that I hope are solved with the latest driver releases, besides, that Titan statue looks damn sexy :)

From the original reveal, I imagined Titanfall would have CoD's no-recoil shooting mechanics with mechs and wallrunning. Seems to be true from what I've seen so far. I'm interested but it won't be a preorder...

Meh,

Not my genre...

reason why there was dual card issues (at least for Nvidia) was the lack of an SLi Profile, Nvidia wasnt going to release one for the beta and they still havent afaik.

there was a temporary fix going around though. quite a few people were saying use Nvidia Inspector and add the game to the bioshock profile for better performance, I did this but it pretty much ended up crashing my game mid game so i rolled back to the way it was before.

i think i played about 3hrs of the game before i decided that id had enough

That's pretty much what I was shooting for with selection #2 - "I'll buy it but it won't be day one..".

my bad, I didnt see that there.

Unlike most people I've stuck to what I said. Origin is crap, and it's never going near my PC again.

Sorry Respawn, but Titanfall requiring Origin requires me to pass.

It's my battlefield 4 stress reduction mechanism. I've bought it for less than retail through a cd key retailer. And it does have high res textures. Warns you need 3gb vram at least to use, well the beta did.

Not a big fan of EA...but when it gets to $10 I'll take a look. That's my rule for buying pc games. Saved me a helluva lot of money just waiting six months after the initial release...
