Hey I have this TV next to my computer, and the remote control is lost. is there any way I could use my computer as a remote control? like bluetooth or infrared?

why not get a universal remote?

cuz here in czech Computer stores dont have anything.

ahhhh, well do ya have a wal-mart? I know very little about other countries stores

but i do know tvs are IR

is it possible to do it thou?

If your pc is next to your tv can u not lean over and change it by hand?

wireless keyboard and mouse while using your system as a media center, that's the only way i know to do it.

I actually have a remote for my PC, it was originally a Media Center PC, but the pre installed OS was messed up, so I tried to make a new OS CD using the pre supplied backup software, and that messed itself up  and THEN they wanted me to pay £25 for a new CD even though it was their software that messed it up...

Some people eh?

ir blaster for the pc (easy to make your own thru a parallel port), and have the system learn the codes. shouldn't be that hard if you aren't afraid of soldering.
