I want to upgrade my Machine in a few months, maybe 3 or 4 but I was think if I should upgrade now or wait for the Skylake.

Been honest i am not a fanatic of the latest processors that intel has released.
 
I think it all comes down to what youre using your machine fore ?

If you use yours fore heavily threaded apps, like video editing, very high resolution pics(professional) or your are into music making on a higher scale then fore me X99, DDR4 and a I7 makes sense.

If you use it on a hobby scale fore those things, gaming etc. so wait for Skylake and see what it can do.

I use my machine for Gaming, I am still using socket 1155 and I would like to move forward.

The SLI setup I always have think that is the weaker part from my Machine
 
that depends on your monitor, all under 2560x1440 your setup is right on the money. If you go after the new kid on the block GFX970, then you need another SLI setup just to keep up with the one you allready have.

I can't use my Monitor at 144Hz otherwise gpu 1 keeps running at high speeds even when idle, and I think that problem is due to the Gpu that are not strong enough.

Note: Gpu 1 keeps running at 735Mhz constantly if i use the Monitor at 144Hz.

There's three reasons to wait for Skylake:
1) New architecture.
2) Should cost substantially less than X99 because it is mainstream.
3) Windows 10 should be available too.

Two reasons not to:
1) It supposedly uses a non-standard UniDIMM which supports DDR3 and DDR4. Five years from now, those UniDIMM sticks may become very, very expensive:

Broadwell-E isn't coming until 2016.

Broadwell-K is expected Q2 2015. It's looking far more appealing than waiting until 2016 but then you're stuck with DDR3 memory and DirectX 11.2.

I could be wrong, but I saw some preliminary tests of skylake engineering samples and they just couldn't get them beyond post 2ghz clock speeds.

Would be very early samples. Skylake is not meant to be seen before the end of 2015. Broadwell-K still hasn't popped its head up yet.
 
I think I will skip the next 2 or 3 generation intel's processors

they all do that dude. once you crank the up the hz they are no longer able to downclock as much.

My Machine can handle 2/3 years.

In General, Intel has left few details leaked so far on this project, but considering the very advanced production process expect processors with frequencies above 4.5 GHz and multi-core configurations up to 8 cores models more powerful, or maybe even more.

I wouldn't say nothing till it hits stores. Intel is not crazy to go ahead with such conditions.

And I voted "Wait for Skylake", because waiting is worth (most of the time). Best bet is to wait, if it is not worth, just buy the old or wait more... Completely safe to wait.

Just my opinion.

Same here. Skylake is what I'm aiming for. Having said that UniDIMM has me concerned slightly, but I tend to build a system and sit on it for a few years now, instead of upgrading progressively. Still, they should have just let board manufacturers decide with they wanted to support DDR4 slots only, DDR3 slots only, or both. Just my two cents.

Keep your machine until next year and broadwell. There is no.need for.you to upgrade to a hex core.

UniDIMM is a form factor, not a memory protocol.

UniDIMM uses standard DDR3 and DDR4 signaling. UniDIMMs are to DIMMs what SODIMMs are to DIMMs. They're different form factors for different purposes, and they are not mutually exclusive. If you don't want UniDIMM, you can buy a motherboard with conventional DIMM slots like the majority of end users will. There's no evidence at all of Intel pushing UniDIMM as the only form factor allowed on Skylake.

SKL-Y = 2015 launch, Locked, BGA, SO-DIMM LPDDR3, ultra-low power (4W)
SKL-S = 2015 launch, Locked, LGA, UniDIMM DDR3L/DDR4

There's been no announcement yet of Skylake that uses DIMMs. If there is a model that does, it's a pretty safe bet it won't show up until 2016 along with Broadwell-E.


Edit: I don't know if the SKL-S IMC will allow hardwiring one or the other to full DIMM slots.

Wait for Skylake. Intel could fumblefuck it possibly but you're good with your rig for now.
