Only if your GPU can play the game with enough headroom for the recorder to not lag out.

Its uses less resources than any other. I haven't tried Windows 10 recorder. I going to try it in a few tonight

Windows 10 DVR is buggy as hell. Very little loss in frame rates when it worked. Ans I couldn't move the folder so it want to record on my SSD

Shadowplay is pretty good but Geforce Experience is quite the abomination, it can fiddle with game settings which is pretty useless in itself, because that is already offered by the driver in a much more controllable way. And if you ever use or used NVInspector it will royally screw up those profiles. It also gets updated more often than the driver so you will have a lot more update messages coming through over time, the vast majority won't change much (bug fixing etc.). Also I don't like the day-one driver updates because as we have seen in the recent past, Nvidia's drivers aren't always what they should be and rolling back on GFE is fucking annoying.

Bottom line, I happily drop Shadowplay to not be forced to use GFE But that's me

I use Shadowplay without my 780 even noticing, so you will be fine.
