Netgear ProSAFE Click 16-Port Ethernet Switch

You forgot a digit for the SoC clock speed, 25MHz is a tad slow, even if 125MHz is hardly amazing...

Very nice to see reviews of network products on TPU. Keep it coming:toast:

me too!!! I love it keep the networks tuff coming!

more reviews like this please and thank you

Not bad. I've known people that have rented places with old or non-existing wiring. To set up quickly they'll put a switch or two in each room with runs back to a main switch. The mounting system of these Click switches makes this type of semi-permanent install easy.

I too am in agreement,.....

However, I've started thinking (lusting really) about a 10 Gigabyte Ethernet setup. Looking around at prices it would seem one could buy a Netgear ProSAFE XS708E 8 Port 10G Ethernet switch starting at about ~$759 USD. An HP Mellanox ConnectX-2 10G PCIe G2 dual SFP+ NIC was the cheapest I came across so far at about ~$112 USD each. Roughly ~$1000+ USD is a bit up there but its starting to become affordable
