Nano or fury on a dimastech bench would be pretty cool if you ask meThat's entertaining haha. I am thinking of selling my 470, and with that money buy a Nano/Fury something.

No it isn't. If you can access the filter, it is much easier to wipe it off with a damp rag or even a vacuum. If you have to open up the case, worry about ESD, knocking cables loose, banging into things, that is much more difficult. It'd be easier to clean the components of dust than gunked up filters
If it were easy to create standards, there would be an ATX type standard for notebooks. But there never can be because makers all have their own way of doing things and don't want to give that up. Plus, adding removable filter support increases the cost of production and design.I really think removable air filters should be a standard by now... But apparently it is not.

Note while "clean rooms" (such as computer rooms that have extensive filtering for the whole rooms) are common with "server rooms", hospitals, and other environments, it is not always the case in homes. Certainly, off the floor helps. But much depends on your geographical location. Desert environments are more dusty. Heavy construction in the area matters too. Even tree pollen and open windows can cause problems.
Pets shedding hair and dander makes a big difference, as does having a bunch of rug-rats running around stirring up dust - no matter how clean you keep your house or how high off the floor you keep your computer.
If I ever need advice, you two seem like the right people!Hardwood floors and no pets makes a big difference. I'm a big believer in Positive air pressure even with slightly higher temps. Dust is not good for your parts, especially in the high humidity area I live. It sticks to anything it touches.
