Core temperature difference.

OK, I wasn't worried before about my temperature differences between my cores, as I knew that it happens. However I do not believe that when Core 1 is @ 27 celcius, Core 2 should be at 39 celcius.
What the hell???
A 12 degree difference! (admittedly this was the largest ddifference I found), that's just not right.

Any thoughts?

PS. As far as I'm aware the AC5 I'm using spread evenly when it was applied and pressured by the AC 64 Pro HSF.
 
try running sisoft sandra and see what the core effiecy is:D
 
Do you have the processor drivers and dual core optimizer installed?
Have you thouroghly checked over you HSF at all?

I fear that the core may be starting to burn up! I also fear the same for my processor. Have you checked the processor itself to make sure that it's level? Perhaps lapping both the hsf and processor could be your next temp. I also find that the program core-temp works well for me.

thats on the upper end of the normal temp difference, I have a full 10C difference at idle (on naked die), as long as the temps under 100% load on each core are within a few C thats perfectly fine, no need to worry :)
