Hey guys,

Quick question...

When I watch YouTube videos, I have 3 view modes, standard, theater and full screen. How do you change the view mode to a custom dimension?

TIA,

grecinos

Hold control and either scroll wheel forward & backwards , or Hold control and use +/- will change the video size, but also the whole page. i know its not exactly what you asked, but it is all i could think of

I don't think you can do so officially. If you are using Firefox, you can try the Min Vid extension which creates a separate window for the YouTube player and you can resize the window in the options.

.i do know that the res stays the same whether your in wondow mode or full screen, just the player size changes not the Res.

Thanks for the responses guys!

I've downloaded the extension. When I open a stand-alone video window, it shows up very small. How do you resize the window?

Cheers.

In the extension options inside Manage Your Add-Ons.

Should be an easier way to do that. But it works! Thanks!

Can't argue with that. Give some feedback to Mozilla. All the test pilot extensions are probably going to be implemented in the browser in the future.
