Need help in Drivers for unknown card

Hi ,

I bought an used graphic it's labeled as 9600GT , but i can't get a driver for it , i have download a driver from nVidia but it can't complete the installation .

I take a photo for the chip and card.

it looks like a 9600 PCB, but maybe the bios isnt?

I cant even match that model code. with anything.

EDIT:: OP can you put that card in your system and get the device ID (hardware)

I tried too, it comes up with zip. The pcb is a 9600 as far as i can tell tho, but who knows.

@yousefzidan did you happen to buy this on amazon? Regardless of where can you post the for sale link ?? This wouldn't be the first fake GPU sold in the world. But why someone would sell a fake 9600 is beyond me I don't see where the money in that could possibly be

Or its got a bad bios maybe ? Anyone's guess atm

It looks like it yeah, but i only searched for 9600. Probably looks like several gpu's tbh. Having trouble finding a 1 gb img tho

i have been looking through nvidia GPU chips fro mthe time when they used the lower case "n", and that might be a 6600 not a 9600
searching "n11071" from the sticker on the back Does yeild results BTW

The GPU die is straight though. AFAIK all 9600s were rotated.

6600 not 96....i feel its a 6600. ofc i could be totally wrong

& from what i can tell Yes, all the 9600's i see are rotated

im just shy of 100% that it is a 6600GT

With not SLI connector, I don't think that is even a 9600 PCB.

Edit:

Based on the surface mount components on the GPU package, it looks like the GPU is a G73(from the 7300GT - 7600GT).

I think the GPU is definitely a 7300 GT, but I have no idea about the PCB it looks newer.

The last string on the core corrisponds to 7600-7900 but I could be wrong, im not certain what that string represents, google just tells me it shows up on those cores.

You will get results if you search the number string on the sticker from the backside of the PCB that he posted in the OP n11071. Cant say if it belongs on this gpu tho

The 7600 and 7300 GT used the same G73 GPU. I'm just guessing this is a 7300 GT because the 7300 GT doesn't have an SLI connector while the 7600 cards do.

The PNY & Albatron units share the same PCB color though. maybe its a GS. would have to be 128mb with that VRAM layout

No it's not from amazon or ebay , i bought it from local store here in Syria.

I will try to re-flash the BIOS chip with 6600 or 7600 and post a result.
