Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice: Performance Analysis

Not a single sharp screenshot. I guess blurry mess passes for good visuals these days, just like "cinematic" 30fps.

Most visuals are very clear and sharp in game. It does get double images and a little blurry when Senua is having a psychotic episode.

I have an annoying issue with the games visual. When played at 1440P max settings, the game looks blurry. Most people won't notice it, but if you enable Ansel (by the way, first game in which Ansel works properly out of the box), the blur is removed and you can see clear sharp textures (especially on Senuas face) while in normal in game it's all washed out. I'm assuming there is some postprocessing effects causing the blur,on purpose or a bug, dont know, fiddled with settings, couldn't make it go away, kinda looks like FXAA blur, which is proly disabled in Ansel.

P.S: The screenshots in the article were not done using Ansel, trust me, I can tell (and it bugs the hell out of me, it just looks so crisp in Ansel, and I want that in game)

What about cpu performance? How are Ryzens doing?

Ansel is a photo mode provided by NVIDIA. Think photo mode in Hllblade with all its options to filter, pan, add effects, etc, only much better and with more options.

Poor Senua. If i were her i'd have gone totally insane a long time ago. So many horrors to witness, talk about a harsh and cruel world to survive in.

The game is truely remarkable, the kind of UFO you won't see again before long.
