Possible proof of the existence of an unreleased GTX 1070 Ti?

Pascal GPU has 2304 CUDA cores, falling between the GTX 1080's 2560 and the 1920 present in the GTX 1070. Nothing said for memory clock speed on the card, or if it's GDDR5 or GDDR5x.

Interesting, but redundant methinks. Maybe worth it but with the 1070s going in the $400 range, where will the TI sit? I might of very well bought a 1070 at $300 like I did with the 970, but they never got that low before the mining boom.

300 bucks for OG 1070 seems like the best bet for them, and the Ti will replace it at the 400 mark. There's still a gaping hole between a 6 gig 1060 and a 1070 in terms of pricing.

It's exactly twice a GTX 1060's CUDA cores and it appears to be 8GB the memory clock speeds should probably be somewhere between 8GHz and 10GHz and the price I suspect will be about the same around $400.

more like 500$ and above ... welllll if the 1070Ti took the 500$ spot in my country (unlikely ...) maybe the 1070 would finally be 100$ cheaper than i initially bought it :laugh:

my country current status:
1080Ti = 1100 and above
1080 = 800-900
1070 = 500-700

wait wait wait ... in my country the 1070Ti could take the 600-700 spot ... gosh i'm doomed ...oh wait nope .... i just found that the 1070 in stock can go and up to 745chf ... for a 1070 ... can you believe it?

ok there is some cards priced near MSRP (still slightly higher, if taking Nvidia fantasical MSRP instead of the initial pricing of the "reference edition") but they are never in stock and when they are their price magically get upped for 50-90$ more ....

Could be a chip NVidia is sitting on. I'd think that if the mining craze dies down V56 has a shot at the 1070.

This would let them bump down the price of the 1070 slightly and just get a performance edge over V56.
