Yeah they tend to be pretty good, just to be on safe side read their warranty policy.

I've put vsync on it and it appears to not be crashing anymore... Idk what's happening now

It's possible enabling vsync reduced the load on the GPU, which has all sorts of effects. Vsync often lowers power draw, heat output and stress levels by limiting the framerate to whatever your refresh rate is, rather than rendering the maximum frames possible. An unstable GPU core or memory chip might not fail until sufficiently stressed. Faulty VRMs might not crumble until you pass a certain amount of power draw. Physically weak components, bad contacts etc might start to fail only past a certain temperature level.

I spoke with MSI support today regarding a video card warranty matter. According to them, Their new policy is replace any video card with damage, or even minor issues. So be very certain you don't give them a reason to not replace it .

I just have a broken fan on a video card, and was hoping they'd send me one out or allow me to purchase a new shroud. I was told they no longer stock the components and that policy is to now replace damaged units

That's what they told me. But I'm not gonna wait two or more weeks for a fan on a GTX 750 TI. It's all most capable of passive cooling, so I'll just install a fan to blow over the heat sink.

This particular video card is tragically unique, the fans are part of the shroud, and cannot be just removed. So when one fan dies you either run with one or you replace the entire shroud. I'm guessing that's what's driving their desire to replace it outright. I'll just order a couple 50 mm² x 10 mm fans and attach them to the top of the heat sink

No its not. AS5 has good performance too. Running it right now on the 1060 6GB mini, 25*C Idle and never goes higher than 72*C full load. And thats before any cure time, I just installed this thing yesterday.

Regrettably, no. The 750ti LP is roughly 50 mm tall, And about 100 mm long, with a depth of about 15-20mm , it's absolutely tiny. I don't think I mentioned the low profile part though. It's heat sink is just about exactly 50 mm, so I should be able to purchase two 50 mm² by 10 mm fans, attach them to the heat sink and hook them to the graphic cards 2pin female plug. PerformancePC.com has a surprisingly large selection of obscure cables, splitters, fans etc.i've ordered from them in the past, and I found everything I needed this afternoon on their website. The best part is they're in the United States, I'm sure we've all been in a position where we need a replacement fan for a video card, etc. and it only cost about three dollars ,but it will take 2 1/2 weeks to get to our house's from China, I was more than relieved when I found out they were in Florida

Id take the shroud off totally and get 60s if possible

I have some Gelid fans that are around that size, they actually move decent air. The model is Gelid Silent 5.

It crashed again but is less frequent, when seeing a review of the upcoming graphics card xd i've seen a comparison, where my 980 ti was and i've seen that the memory clock rate was at nearly 1,700 mhz, i've searched and kept seeing almost the same thing, 1,700 mhz to 2,000 mhz and the weird thing is that mine runs at 3,400 mhz... Is this strange or i'm being a bit paranoid lol

If you're not going to bake it, give it to someone who will. I have revived many electronics by reflowing them. Use common sense = no issues.

Different applications read memory speeds differently. What ever your using is posting your actual ddr speed wich is double what your actual clock is, 1700. Wich is not to be confused with your effective speed wich would be 6800mhz.

Its confusing I know.

Try lowering the speed of your memory by 50-100 mhz and see if that helps.

I had sililar problems with my 980 and had to RMA the card twice before they replaced it.

This is obvious sign of bad card, in particular memory, the card needs to be replaced, too bad it cant be rmad because GA black flagged it.

Why does Gigabyte does that kind of things? Refusing RMA and breaking the stuff even more. And those card ain't cheap jesus christ. It's making me mad af. It's bad publicity for them and because of that, I'll never EVER buy a Gigabyte part and I guess alot of people here on the forum will refuse to buy from them too (god damn there's so much story of bad RMA cards). We should start a war against Gigabyte before other companies start to act like "Oh they do that without any problem? Why don't we do that too?".

I never had any bad experience with RMA and hope it will stay like that.

As of your card, downclocking it might help a litte :S... are your temps OK?

Temps ok, all ok except for memory clock, it just goes up and down all the time
