How come ppl can have links to other forums, but I can't? With all these ppl saying visit ashentech and check us out and all that stuff in their sigs. And I can't say visit a-1 hardware forum without getting an infraction? If it's gonna be that unfair, why not give everyone an infraction that has links to other forum boards? :mad:

You should be allowed to link to other boards..

I don't care who any one is, Mods, super mods and even the admins. By not making people allowed to link to other boards is not right-why u ask? I will tell you:TPU does not own the intenet or all the forum boards and all the BS that is associated with forums. So by not allowing these links to other boards is saying we own the internet and all forum boards a like. Well guess what all TPU owns squat when it comes down to the internet and forum boards-How many forum boards have u seen with the copyrights saying powered by Tech Power Up? I have seen none! So if by not posting links to other boards TPU must be afraid of losing members cause someone else may have a better board or be allowed to post differently than here-Well hats off to 3991vhtes. I agree with what he said-if one can't than no one can including the F...ING ADMINS and MODERATORS and SUPER MODS! In my opinion boards should be used as a teaching device-let people ask questions and get proper answers and not just an answer that someone believes is right or may or may not work-if someone asks a question and u know the answer then reply if not keep your thoughts to yourself! And remember this: there is no one person out there that is perfect-I know of only one perfect person in this world and trust me he is not a member of this board! I don't have to tell you, furthermore i never claimed of owning the internet or all the forums. I stated that cause thats what it sounds like they are saying by not allowing links to other boards. But I will say this FTRI own 10 servers and my own business. I really don't care what you or TPU owns, I was just stating they don't own the Internet.:)
 
Fair enough, but they DO own the page.
And in the interest of keeping it open they need the visitors.

TPU Advertising probably helps keep it alive.

I agree with you, but can u see my point that if they tell 1 person to stop then all should have to stop? Including the Admins and the mods and super mods?:confused:

Oh? By what right? By whose standard? I don't believe TPU is based in a Facist and/or Communist state. Therefore, the property rights of Germany allow W1zzard to do whatever he pleases with his property. It's right because the owner wills it, unless you advocate the loss of property rights?

You must not be too sure of your moral stance if you have to use a sock puppet to express yourself.

Im not trolling. I visited this site cause I was told about it and they thought it was something that I would like to become a member of. So im here-but comments like that makes me want to leave. The last time I checked, driver66 you are in no position to tell me this, seeing your not an admin or moderator. But you do have freedom of speech-I will give you that.

We just dont take kindly to rash threads questioning the authority of the people who run and own TPU, especially those who are kind and help us out very often just as much as the other members. Feel free to stick around.

Listen-I was just stating that if 1 person can't link to other forums why can others? I agree that they can run this board the way they want but don't u think that not allowing 1 person to link and allowing others is fair? I need no sock puppet to express my self-I was just stating an opinion.

If my posts come across as questioning authority then I apologize, but I don't think its fair. I wish I would of saw a different post in bold when I first visited here. But oh well. This post ny 3991vhtes stuck right out. I wish it didn't.:)
