go to your local pc shop and try that gpu.
I second this. Card needs to be tried in another computer. If the issue follows the card, the card is the problem.

In the morning I’ll go to the shop see if they can test it, if the card is good I’ll download the new bios and see if that does anything

Which one do you suggest i try?

Recheck my previous post, i updated it.

No, never

I’m done for today i spent almost 8 hours trying to fix it , I’ll give it a shot tomorrow

Update your bios to F23b using the link above.

Does your board have the option to use the iGPU for multimonitor? Just a thought.

I have 2 monitors both hdmi

The monitor which is connected to the graphics card starts up and displays the screen for about 10 seconds on boot up

The monitor which is connected to the integrated graphics doesn’t display anything(black screen) and when the other monitor goes off (after 10 seconds) this one comes on and boots as normal into windows 10 with the other one still off

None of that tells me if there is the option or not.

Before you installed the latest Nvidia drivers did you do all windows update first?
Even if you're able to "use" the GPU as the active display adapter and you've tried everything software wise then the chances are the GPU may be dead either DOA or perhaps when you installed it you didn't disconnect the power supply, discharge any static build up from the PC and yourself then chances are you may have potentially fried something internally.

Everytime i disconnect the power and switch off the power i hold the power button to discharge the static i heard that works , and yes windows was clean installed the day prior with all the updates

pretty obvious

Well do you have a UEFI BIOS? if not this would be my guess why you’re having this issue.
I don't think the RTX cards play with legacy at all.
This.

Yes from other posts i have seen that legacy bios have issue with newer gpu’s which is why i upgraded

I haven’t however upgraded the bios version

Bios updating is super simple
Download the bios put it on a blank usb drive, boot into the bios, go to whatever your bios stuff is and follow the likely 3 step process and reboot

Your board is dual bios.. very difficult to screw up

There were lots of issues around Z77 boards back in 2015/16 that had issues where if run in Legacy mode and whilst running in Legacy had their Bios updated, users found if they then at some point tried to go UEFI they found corruption etc.

Well what the piss are you waiting for, Igave you the link to upgrade it.

Any bios pre 2013 is non uefi compatible, todays cards have no CSM bios, uefi only.

He needs to pull the gpu out reset the bios, boot up on igp, flash the bios and then reboot, reset the bios again and insert the card after a reboot and shutdown.

Latest chipset drivers are a must.

I’m going to a pc store to check if the card is working right now
