Hi, as the title say: do you guys know a way to disable it and save up 7gb? I tried the regedit method but it didn't work (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ReserveManager and set ShippedWithReserves to 0). Is there a way to disable it via gpedit or cmd? Thanks!

If upgrading from 1809 to 1903 the reserved storage space feature will stay disabled but if you did a clean install last i knew there was no way to disable it.

Edit 2: Just read you have to wait until the next upgrade cycle for the change to take affect.

Edit: Checked up on it, you need to be signed into a Administrator account for the change in the registry to take affect after a reboot.

19H2 is around the corner, but i think it's a cumulative update. So, i need to wait till next feature update, don't i?

It shouldn't matter. In general terms, 19H2 is considered an upgrade.

The recent cumulative update for 1903 activated the registry change regarding Reserved Storage Space.
