atiflash 2.93 and rx5700

error if upload to rx5700 sapphire pulse modded bios use atiflash 2.93
OLD SSID E408
NEW SSID E408
bios authentication signature mismached
ERROR: 0FL01

if upload without modding - its ok
key -f -p not helping
how repair this error, or may be has key for atiflash ignore this warning?

bios modded directly via hex editor (straps), checksum eddition too, its ok
need only upload to card

I'm looking. I need one last thing, open GPU-Z. Click the arrow left of the UEFI check box, attempt to upload the bios to the VGA database through the program. You should get a prompt that the file is already in the database with a link to the file, copy the file link and paste it here. If you do not get that prompt, upload the file anway and copy the link and paste it here.

I'm comparing the file internals for criteria.

sorry, me not need upload original bios, i has him and atiflash upload to card not problem, me need upload my modded bios, and this has problem

No i I need to look at the internals of your bios file already on the card, if GPU-Z states the bios file is already in the database I need the link to it, if it doesn't, upload it and get the link after.

In order for this to even have a chance of working I need that last bit of info.
 
Ok i cant read the file directly, Igave you specific directions here (not on a pc currently)

Open GPU-Z. Click the arrow left of the UEFI check box, attempt to upload the bios to the VGA database through the program. Through GPU-Z you will see a prompt with a link like this one

Ok

This Bios Dev ID and Sub System ID match yours but are for XT, should flash though. No need to change SSIDs now. Just use Ati Winflash after downloading the files.

Primary Bios Position- Higher Power/Performance ( bios switch position towards PCIE Power cables)

sorry, me no need 5700 non xt to 5700xt, me need upload to 5700 my modded bios
 
Ok I've been told the files are signed a certain way so they can't be modified. I hope you have a disaster recovery means in case if the card bricks.

Your card's ssid is E408 anyway, there is no way it was E406. You have the E408 bios on there.

Anyways if you want to continue open atiwinflash.exe (Windows Mode not DOS mode) and try to flash using the GUI.

If you get the 0FL01 error again the bios is locked. Then you will need to open the Windows Command Prompt with administrator privileges/rights and then use this command

Amdvbflash.exe -unlockrom 0


Then enter this command

Amdvbflash -f -p 0 XXXX .rom

Note: XXXX is the name of the VBIOS file you downloaded. You can also change the downloaded file name to a simple name.

my card not bricked, work good all bios positon
i download bios via gpuz and change straps (for mining) and crc checksum
me need upload to buck to card modded bios
with key -f -p 0 bios.rom my original bios upload good, but modded with error

me need workaround this error and flashing modded bios, bricks after - its not problem, upload to card original my bios
 
Find a SPI flasher such as a Flashcat.

The XT bios I provided earlier would work for your card though.

Otherwise watch this video


Then use this command

Amdvbflash.exe -unlockrom 0

The bios you modified must be signed by AMD, this is what I was talking about earlier. RX 5000 Series cannot be modded like the RX 500/400, R9 300/200 or older series, Geforce 1000/900 can't be modded either.
Todays cards are encrypted a certain way.

You can try the 5700 to XT flash I suggested earlier.

Or you can buy a spi flasher with chip clip and force your modified bios that way.

in hex editor normal withible too
i put frq straps and asolutle same scren as bios rx480, intervals lent straps
i not see encript 5700 bios

or atiflash, gpuz, amd mem tweack xl download bios and decript on fly?

Even RTX are encrypted.
Listen you must have a digital signature by amd for the bios to flash, even nvidia is like that, without that you will never get the card to flash, unless if you get the hardware chip flasher.

Same problem here with PowerColor 5700 (non-xt) Red Dragon.

I tried lot of things but impossible to flash modded bios

I have some 5700XT and modded without problems

EDIT: I can flash to 5700XT and back to 5700... original bios NO PROBLEM, when I mod the bios its when don´t flash.

SOLVED: I use a different version of ATIFlash

Flash Tool 2.93+ WinWorks only for RX 5700 and 5700 XT(X)
