Hi guys I bought this card because the price was good and also the girl who sold it to me told me he only mined for 5 months probably was a lie but she gave 5 days to fully test the card, so I decided to buy it, the problem I have found so far is one fan not working fine but that is not what I came here for. I think this card has a modified vbios because I can't control the fans and also the stock clock is higher of what it should be, the boost clock goes at 1812mhz while the stock boost clock should be 1708MHz, it's not that much, but this is what it gives me the impression of the vbios being modified, with GPU-Z it says my card has the right vbios.

I search around google but couldn't find any tool to see my vbios values and also found a post that says Pascal architecture is encrypted so it cant be modified so I don't know what to do, I want to flash the card to the lastest vbios found on the vbios database of techpowerup but I don't know which tutorial to follow, can someone please point me in the right direction?

That's totally normal for nVidia cards. They all typically boost beyond their advertised boost clock speed.

And what software are you trying to use to control the fans?

thanks for your help, im using msi afterburner and tried the zotac firestorm app but couldn't do anything, sometimes i think but im not sure its just something on my mind, it could be possible that as one of the fans is almost jammed and its in a pretty bad condition, it could the one causing the problem like the card needs to know how both fans are working
