Upon (pulling the trigger) ordering the purchase of a deal cpu+gpu meant that I , now , am committed to fulfilling and completion of this new PC of mine.

As I reached the unsayd personal objective , some cash I managed to save past obj. and whilest browsing the interwebs as usual , across I came in front of a previous video-graphics accelerating card wich at it's launch to market date , was not slated to include the EU / UK market what have you , the old continent , ah yes! .
The card in question is the 50th Anniversary edition of the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT , that and at when it was launched I could afford to purchase it , I could not.

So, having purchased the card along withe the recently released AMD CPU Ryzen 3 3300x almost delivered, there is still the matter of getting a hold on them hw parts as the shop does not serve international shipping (old address) .

As of writing this, the only component on hand for the build is a Seasonic FOCUS PX-550.

Chassis in mind :
- Cooler Master q300l
- other , oldie but super goodie
- darkFlash dlm22 ( pink version) this one rocked me with a feeling that I must have this ! .

Pictures: I will not double upload them and just quote two of my posts from within the TPUforum.

I gots RAM and CPU heatsink way back home wich woul cost considerably to ship , might as well buy locally as I did with the PSU, well so would the CPU and GPU ...

What have I got here this here parcel now?, as estimated delivery was about a week from today .
Also these components depicted in and by the 3rd picture that I've purchased over the past 6 months for anything between £1.99 the Radeon HD4870 to the £25 Ivy Bridge CPU+mb+ram, because there still is an 8 year old boy within and he must have toys, among other things.

I've just "pulled the trigger" thus ordered the new AMD Ryzen 3 3300X and a AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary 8GB GDDR6 256-bit for a total of £402.94 after the promotion calculations and a £24'ish cash discount due to a voucher.
Promo : AMD processor plus AMD Radeon Video card accelerator/whathaveyou for an up to %15 discount from the cheapest item of the two purchased( eligible products for the promo campaign and only valid within Romania).

Any day now , any day now, it's unnerving this wait of mine, what to do? , what to do without all the parts/components ?

The parts for this build so far go as:
Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-AB350M-DS3H v2
CPU : AMD Ryzen R3 3300X ( any day now I should have it shipped)
RAM : SK Hynix 2X8GB dual rank dimm's specd at the vanilla 2133mhz, DDR4
GPU : AMD Radeon RX 5700XT 50th Anniversary edition. ( any day now I should have it shipped)
Storage: - the "old" 1TB WD Blue HDD
- a brand new Corsair MP510 nvme SSD
PSU : Seasonic FOCUS PX-550
Chassis : Cooler Master Masterbox Q300L
Network(extra) : TP-link AC600 (wireless network adapter over USB port).

get new ram or OC the crap out of these, who knows what they can do.

First thing first , I got to get it to boot and only thereafter I begin familiarizing with the platform whilest not overstepping on expenses. Even at 2133mhz it should be pretty much fine for the "girls I go out with"( Sarah Kerigan , Nova , Mira Han, all StarCraft characters).

15907652257192793824336649253295.jpg

As I realized that the 2 plastic bars (top side of the socket) to which some coolers are retained had to be removed, henceforth the chassis I flipped over up in a vertical position and while I turned for the cooler, with the "corner of my eye" , Hey! , that does not sit proper, it was the CPU barely hanging over in the socket by a couple row's of pins . It's been a while since I broke in a new pga in a new socket, although it did not feel proper , it was all the way down? ( in hindsight), Sheesh!

Nice build, I am curios why is the PSU drawing air from inside the case ?

I was expecting it to be finicky when it came to make it boot from USB is install on to the nvme drive , if only I could of bet'ed on it ,taking this long and scrolling through the mb manual as no hard copy of it the box.
"Whiping" out the drive from my laptop into the PC , it boot ohh so nice , quick and dandy. Thoughts?

Nice build, I am curios why is the PSU drawing air from inside the case ?
The case it's 3/6 mesh'i (sides are solid), I did notice a potential fight for air or so to speak , between the PSU and GPU fans , for the time beeing , it's fine , them fans are not a top each other ,just ever so slightly if I were to draw a line. Plans for intake fans are in place or CPU CLC be it custom or AIO or just maybe an air-cooled effective one/for the money.
I've been eyeing scythe ninja/Mugen , cm z600 , Prolimatech megahalems/Armageddon yet the weight of those scared me on account of two lga 1151 dieing on me because a 700ish gram air cooler.

Just to make sure of something , I don't know what at the moment, it does boot from a crocked iso on a USB drive, yet it does not detect the nvme, also trying an original iso does not boot at all.
I've conceded for today , only for today , it works fine on the sata ssd , actualy better than when it was in the laptop.
And seeing cinebenchR20 is quite popular , I've ran it once.

Lastest ms w10 build , SSD up to date firmware wise , mb was shipped with the latest bios version and I've tried a couple older ones too no success when it comes to boot bios setting and the likes, all combinations exhausted.

"all combinations of settings," yeah right , apart from disconnecting other drives and having CSM and SecureBoot disabled is all it took me to install that is . And as a by gone with all that, a benchmark run of CDM 7.0 I think , with just the drivers installed.

One F12 Value Pack later , I am as ready to do the most difficult part of this job , finger contorting puling them rubber/silicon fan holeder plugs trough them fan frames.

That case got a pretty bad rep because of its low airflow design, how come you went with that?

seasonic recommend to put the power supply this way if you use it in fanless mode. The heat goes up!

And it's done , time to put the side panels back on and enjoy. Every fan is run at full speed from the bios, stock CPU fan spins just above 1900 rpm while the remaining 3 of 5 Arctic F12's spin in the mid 1300 rpm's.
@Mats , my chassis is no different than the others yet I solved it. It was just a matter of sacrificing 2 fans for their frames, without sayd frames the intake ones would be loud and lousy.

Le: @PerfectWave , it may very well be the case yet the whole thing only pulled just over 400watts from the wall according to the kill-a-watt device and that was with CPU oc , max fan speed for the GPU , all under Aida sis stability test( I haven't touched it since the first couple of days from puting it together , on all components that is).
Chassis airflow solved.

It is different. All those vent holes are too far apart, making it only 15 % of the area vented according to GN.

There's still some whoosh because of that hence the added frames for the fix , even so the airflow is about half at best when compared the the fan's airflow whilest free standing.

So I Kind of left it at that when it comes to high clocks (1st pic attached), firing on all cylinders, with the Turbo off after seeing a "scary value" of 1.4 volts cpu vcore, it was so unstable with that on in a way that the cooler couldn't keep up and remounting the cooler did not change much if any worth to stability improvement trying to run 4375MHz stable plus the turbo atop.
I've been running it the past couple days with minus 150milivolts set in the bios at which setting it runs the stock allcore frequency no problem and no it wont do 3925MHz at the same voltage.
Long night ahead. le: second picture as reference point.
3rd pic le before I go for a beer and a cigy as it runs.
4th pic le : its been running a handful of minutes as I am writeing this with Aida64 sis stability test (cpu+mem) on threads 2,3,4,5 and Cpu-z stress test on thread 0,1,6,7, time for a game after a cigy, but, before a cigy some thread realocation shuffeling.
le 5th : it did crash under a second after pressing ok in task manager after finishing the thread allocation swithch-a-ru, yet now after restart I'm atl-tab'ing between 3 games like I'm expecting it to crash, Over.
6th le, 5th pic : the scores are a tad under with the app polling sensors and doing its thing, All in all game time for now.

Tried much I did so , to the loneliest number "1" getting it I did not succeed with a ~50W tec1 module at idle load.

Two more RAM dimms added for a total of 32 GB , by just getting the first two out and sharpie mark them so as witch ones are wich. With all dims in, it booted straight away at the previous settings , too no surprise as I was 50/50 towards maybe increasing ram tension supply.
I had it at CR2 yet in the screen shot its 1 so... not quite previous setting.

I'we tec1'ed the build in the CPU department with tec12710 yelding 0 to 5 degree's C idle and mid-high 50's loaded vs results with a tec12715 that are 5 to 10 degree's C at idle an mid 40's loaded.
All in all a mixed bag of toys.
Power consumption heightened as expected, with some stability gained and yet hampered by the new bios as of last week (f51c).
Power to tec1 modules was supplyed by PC PSU , so 12V , attempting 15.3V.

Le: 15.3V unsuccessful as psu's are not that insulated to add 12V from one to a 3.3V from another, also tried a buck Boost converter I did , that may be a dead on arrival one on account of outputting less than the input , a voltage drop across a diode if you will.

Anyhow, a couple weeks in with the anew rig following https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/crackleing-sound-from-the-cpu-socket.270544/#post-4331854 , I wasnt expecting to have the ram set at 3200mhz stable , witch now is kudos to the new motherboard ( Asus ROG Crosshair IV Extreme ).

One thing left to do , as a maybe is 2 bios profiles because during the first part of the week I set it as 3.5ghz CPU @ thereabouts of 1 volt , ram at 2133mhz @1.22v , Vsoc 0.9875V only to just change the multipliers and the tensions supplyed for the second part of a week to 1.3V @ 4.3ghz CPU , 1.38V @ 3200 MHz Dram , 1.16250 Vsoc.

There weren't many cases to chose from so as the Mb would not cover cutouts for wiremanagement , therefore I got one "without".

Long and permitting the case fan cables are to route them alongside the fan frames , I felt I was about to brake it by trying to fix that estetic part, so I left it for the winter cleanup.
