Today Logitech announced its new MX Anywhere 3 and MX Anywhere 3 for Mac Wireless Compact Mice, low-profile mice designed for advanced creators, developers and anyone who seeks performance, portability and comfort anywhere they need to work. The mouse is built to track on virtually any surface, including glass, as you move it with you to varied work spaces around the home or office. Featuring the next-generation MagSpeed wheel, MX Anywhere 3 quietly scrolls up to 1,000 lines per second and auto-shifts between ratchet and hyperfast mode, giving you the highest precision in a compact mouse.

"MX Anywhere 3, the latest addition to the premium MX family of products, is purpose-built for creating, making and doing at the speed of thought so you can master whatever you need," said Delphine Donne-Crock, general manager of creativity and productivity at Logitech. "Designed to enhance your workflow anytime and anywhere you need to be productive, MX Anywhere 3 is comfortable and fits well for smaller hand sizes."

MX Anywhere 3 connects wirelessly up to 10 meters away and features USB-C quick charging, staying powered for up to 70 days on a full charge, and a one-minute quick charge lasts three hours. Connect up to three devices via Bluetooth wireless technology or the included Unifying USB dongle and switch between them at the tap of a button.

Customize MX Anywhere 3 for your specific workflow, so you can work faster with predefined app-specific profiles. Pair MX Anywhere 3 with MX Keys for the ideal setup so you can truly master everything you need.

Compatibility
MX Anywhere 3 works with Windows, macOS, iPadOS, ChromeOS and Linux. MX Anywhere 3 for Mac is optimized for macOS, is iPad compatible and includes a USB-C to USB-C charging cable for Mac.

Pricing and Availability
The Logitech MX Anywhere 3 and MX Anywhere 3 for Mac will be available beginning in September 2020 at Logitech.com, BestBuy.com and Amazon.com in the United States and at select retailers globally. Both mice are available in pale gray and MX Anywhere 3 is also offered in rose and graphite. Suggested retail price for both the MX Anywhere 3 and MX Anywhere 3 for Mac is $79.99.

Yes, F.I.N.A.L.L.Y.......:peace:..

anutha step towards forever killing all the other antiquated, P/I/T/A USB plug types and standardizing on USB-C for everything, much like the cellphone industry has done.....

now if the case mfgr's would just get with the program, we could be all set :D

I for one will lament the loss of the only quantum-state connector ever implemented when USB-A is retired.

All joking aside, this is a worthwhile update to one of the best portable mice out there.

$80 for a mouse? Did that once with a razor. Was a good mouse, but not worth the premium and driver issues. I’ll wait until next year for the price to hit $50 and then i can ditch the mousemat

Was this an older Razor mouse? The newer mice all use the standard HID driver unless you needed to use Synapse for configuration.

But this is good news as the MX Master 3 is a bit too big to be a travel mouse and the majority of my devices are USB-C now.

Only if it wasn't so expensive, I could see it as a replacement for my aging MX535.

I've had an MX Anywhere and currently have an MX Anywhere 2. They are both solid mice, though a leaking battery eventually killed off my first one :(
I'm not a huge fan of having an integrated battery, but they should be easy enough to replace when they die and the standard battery life is awesome.

The MagSpeed wheel ruins Logitech mice for me.

I actually use and like the middle-click function on mice. MagSpeed mice like the MX anywhere 2 I have don't have this function and whilst you can map it to another button, not being able to click the wheel as a button press is a real downer.

Never touching a mouse with this feature ever again, I've relegated my MX Anywhere 2 to my crappy tablet because it's bluetooth and it's better than nothing, but AFAIK the really goddamn basic "middle-click" function has been taken away just so that lazy people can turn on 'Heelyz' for their mousewheel.

My Logitech MX Anywhere has been a great mouse. It marked the introduction of Logitech’s Darkfield sensor. I’ve used this mouse on a glass-topped table without a skip or hiccup.

If the new one is as good as the older models, I’ll recommend it highly. I don’t know if that will be the case, though. My new generation MX518 just went nuts after six months of light use. The originals lasted for several years before the buttons wore out.

The MXA3 mouse wheel supports the middle-click function

Yes. As they say, once Bitten, twice shy. Or, you fooled me once, you aint gonna fool me again.
