Hi.
I have two bricked Rx 580 :( yes two
One sapphire rx580 4 gb
The other sapphire nitro rx 580 8 gb nitro

I bought them second hand. I thought that I can fix them but there is no any hardware problem.
Probably it's a dead bios problem.

No video signal, no boot, no fans spinning

What did I do?
During the process I used my on-board gpu
*I used this forum's guide
*I tried flashing new bios via atiflash and amdvbflash (both used windows 10 and freedos bootable usb)
*I connected pin 1-8
Nothing happened...

Every time I faced with error "adaptor not found 0FL01

What should I do?

Looks like bad BIOS is not these cards' problem... Do you know the cards' history?

I don't know what happened to the card before. What should I do?
Is this a bios problem or chip? How can I detect it?
I am wondering, why the fans don't spin?
Maybe this can give an idea about the problem

Perhaps the fuses on the cards are blown, but that indicates something more went wrong with them.

Should have a dual bios switch on the Nitro, not sure on the other though have you tried that?

You get no signal before you attempted to flash them?

were you positive you had the right bios to flash? as in taking off the cooler and double checking the chips to compare in the database.

I checked all the fuses and there is no problem

Yes it has dual flash and switch. I tried it but same

Yes I am sure. The bios chip code pm25l0020

try to use all the dvi / hdmi / display port to see if any give signal
I didınt try all the outputs except dvi. I think no need because the gpu chip is not getting hot and the fans not spinning. Also the bios don't see the card when I start up with on-board the pc.
I think the problem is either gpu chip power problem or bios problem.

1 - Gpu chip is not getting hot (just a bit almost cold)
2- Fans not spinning
3- Adaptor not found error when I try to flash new bios

These are the problems
Maybe give us some ideas about the problem

try the other ports, it's not a step to ignore.

Go over the card and check for missing or blown capacitors etc.
