I recntly got 2 P104-100 that have the 4GB Bios on there. Ive been trying to Flash the BIOS to the 8GB via NVFlash with the Bios on the Tech Powered Up Site. I am on Windows 10 and im having issues with the command line, from the Command Prompt i cant get the files or the commands to correctly post. Ive watech the videos and read the posts but i cant seem to get it to work? Does anyone have experience with this?

You can't just do that. To make it 8GB you need to buy new GDDR5 modules and use BGA rework station to dismantle the old GDDR5 modules.

So why i have i seen success thoriugh HIVE OS and other channels of being successful

They probably are still on 4GB or are bs'ing you. You can't physically add memory chips via flashing.

And i do appreciate you responding and not trying to rock the boat. Just off the information ive read, that the cards actually have 8gb mem, but only utilize 4gb? why else would thye be doing the bios flash then

I'd tear it down to confirm it has the actual chips there.

this is one of the rare instences where a few p104-400 cards did physically have 8GB of memory but where bios limited to 4GB

but it was only a few batchs that where such you need to verify how many memory chips are physically present before attempting any bios mods

Maybe taking a look at the memory module's and posting there name and all.

model of the memory chips and how many there is
does it have a hidden hdmi port behind the IO plate ?

read here

you can try one of these bios's if you brick it thats on you
download nv flash run these commands in order

nvflash64 -b backup.rom
nvflash64 --protectoff
nvflash64 -6 nameofbios.rom

I have a sneaking suspicion we are gonna have a post real soon saying
"EVGA P104-100 BRICKED PLEZ HELP"

I should check my P104 but it's buried in storage

As an update I got it all to work! Below are the stats from gpu-z recognizing it as an 8gb, and the new speeds with nicehash. It unlocked new miners and doubled my hashpower with the card. To some of you #teamnofaith
