On my Macbook I use Safari to browse the internet/download. When using Safari it will save whatever download you have currently so that if you stop the download it picks up where you last left off (say your computer crashes).

Anyhow, occasionally it will do this with IE on Windows Vista, however 99% IE will not save my download position... Is there a setting I can turn on or off that will command IE to do this? If not, is there an app that will do this for me?

to resume your downloads?

getright is a nice download manager
dl mage (ithink) is >> >> with rapidshare support

if you want just the page the ie7pro is the best tool for ie7 and it will resume you crashed site or tabs plus it haves many many options

What I'm saying is IE isn't resuming my downloads right (I have IE7).

I'll take a look at getright.

Free download manager is the best, or FLASH GET

Use a torrent client.Does Safari resume downloads on windoze ?

Use a torrent client.Does Safari resume downloads on windoze ?

Only problem with that is that I use a dsl connection in an apartment complex, and they automatically block incoming packets (ie; torrents, lime wire, ect ect...)

I'll give this Download Accelerator app a try.

Safari is still in Beta for Windows and not all of the features work as of now.

Neway ,thanxx 4 the tip - now initializing safari trial beep beep - Excellent !

My personal favourite is FreshDownload, so if you have problems with Safari give that a try.

Or netscape navigator. Will a download manager resume ALL downloads or just from servers that support it ?
