AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid Cooled Edition Now On Sale in Europe

AMD first announced the Radeon RX 6900 XT LC featuring a pre-binned Navi 21 XTXH GPU in June with the product only available to select system integrators and OEMs. These reference design cards were not expected to be available in the DIY market but listings for the cards appeared on some Indian retailers after the announcement. The card appears to be receiving a limited release with PowerColor's model (16GBD6-MW2DHC) now available to purchase from German retailer Mindfactory for 1749 EUR. The AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT LC features an increased boost clock speed of 2435 MHz from the 2250 MHz on the RX 6900 XT along with a memory speed boost from 16 Gbps to 18 Gbps.

AMD will be making a limited number of Radeon RX 6900 XT liquid cooled reference design graphics cards available to select system integrators. System integrators are a critical part of the gaming ecosystem and offering this this model through their channels helps ensure that as many of these products as possible get into gamers hands.

OK. Now they can offer it at MSRP to original owners with proof of purchase- Vega64 Liquid cards... Shit, I still have my box even.
 
After lottery of course... The winner will have the honour to pay 2500 euros.
 
At that price I want a 240mm radiator and gold plated shroud on the card.
 
120mm radiator for a 300W TDP card? Good luck.
 
Sorry but i need both my kidneys, so i won't be getting one of these.

Bruhhhh, I would be all over that if I didn't already have the Red Devil 6900XT. That card would cost me 1,416 euros!

Edit: Nevermind, I need 3 x DP, no use for USB-C on the GPU.

The Type-C itself is also a DP, just get an adapter / cable.

It was perfectly fine for the 275W Fury X as well as the 345W Vega 64 LC, so I doubt it will be an issue. Remember, there's a massive gap between what is good and effective water cooling and some of the conventional wisdom of custom PC water cooling fans (for example around what are acceptable liquid temperatures).
 
€1700 is pretty much the avg price for RX6900 in EU, I don't know what some of you expected. On top of that it's being sold by mindfactory and not directly by AMD.

Thermodynamics. If you aten't restricted to keep the water under 35C to keep the CPU and other parts cool, you can triple the cooling performance without sweat. That's how all these single 120 AIO solutions work. And they handle occasionally 400-500Watts of power.

Not to mention that thermal transfer efficiency increases as thermal deltas increase, so a at a fixed flow rate and airflow, the same radiator will dissipate more and more heat as the liquid inside heats up over ambient temperatures. (Of course this also causes transfer efficiency from the GPU to liquid to drop, raising gpu temperatures, but rarely enough to be a problem.)
 
My main issue would be where to use that in my case (Lian Li O11 dynamics). Got 3 area where to put fan and i already have a 360mm on top + 6 120 fan. Adding this is possible but it would look odd. And i am not paying that amount of money for something that would look odd.

This is more for people that really don't care or people that have older/cheaper case where a single 120mm fan slot was common.

Well, I would agree in your case (no pun intended), but you do have one of the relatively few tower cases on the market that won't fit a single 120mm fan above the rear I/O. That is the logical placement of a cooler like this.
 
I know why the OEM's went with a RAD that small for more case compatibility but I still think its not great for a gpu and can put out 300watts. I would have preferred a 240mm on this.
