The bios I'm using for flashing is this - https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/214191/gigabyte-rxvega56-8192-190723

I'm trying to flash it with cmd in admin mode with this command: amdvbflash -f -p 0 bios.rom

I also did the unlock rom before. per t he guide here - https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/asrock-5700-to-5700xt.262371/#post-4179692

But when running the flash command i get ssid mismatched an -f option not support in external version of the tool

Any ideas?

That string of flags after command line works when running amdvbflash in DOS , it worked as is for me when I performed VGA bios flash off a floppy disk.

I'm running command as admin.

I'm using the 3.2 version External package created by W1zzard.

After some googling I realized I needed v 2.93. Downloaded that, tried it and it worked.
