I am having a problem where in Call of Duty: Warzone or Vanguard, I am getting graphics-related game crashes. It is intermittent, typically when there are significant amounts of explosions (particle effects) or just a very heavy load on the GPU. I have no such problems in any other games. When the crashes occur, there is no event created in the windows event logs. Neither my CPU or GPU are over-clocked as they are at factory settings. I ran GPU-Z logging and captured two events nearly back to back. I have uploaded the logging below. The log seems to imply a power related issue, by my max load on my power supply is around 450 Watts on a 800 Watt power supply. I have highlighted and made bold the first time stamp of when the event occurs. Am I reading this sensor long wrongly or does it even help me to diagonse the problem?

The log seems to imply a power related issue
Why do you think that? My first impression is, that this GPU isn't stable, for whatever reason, but not power.

I have a Zotac GeForce GTX 1660 Super and it's stable like a rock, never a program getting terminated unexpectedly. I know that an unstable GPU core OC can cause that symptom.

Mine seems to be a golden sample, it will take a lot before that possibly happens!

Because under the column PerfCapReason, at the moment the GPU wigs out and locks up, the sensor is reporting a "1". Going back to this prior post: https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/gpu-z-perfcap-log-number-meanings.202433/post-3148971 it indicates that a (1) reported by GPU-Z is a power-related issue.

Only COD:Warzone and Vanguard and only intermittently - sometimes I play for a few hours in those games with no problems whatsoever. But it is only those two games.

I dunno.

And what psu are you using?

Take it up with game creators and nvidia then

This is very normal behavior though. You can try as a experiment to lower the clock of the GPU, if it is stable then, we know what's up.

I don't have the brand handy, but it is an 800 Watt PS. In so far as your other comment is concerned - The point was (an assumption) that the members of this forum not seeking help had time and experience understanding that GPU-Z log, maybe better than I do at a glance. So, I appreciate you kicking the can back at the game developer, but it wasn't real helpful. On a related note, the error code it throws is a generic one for "The display driver stopped responding and was reset". I am 1 in a 1000 of various complaints or issues, nowhere to go with it. So I thought I could turn to resources here.

Well it's these specific games, also being vague about the psu doesn't help us, so we can't help you.

And my point above stands, that would be your best course of action.

"The display driver stopped responding and was reset".
A classic symptom of overclocking the GPU core too much. But, it don't even look like the OP is OC'ing diddly squat. :/ It's exactly like my stock frequencies!
Looks like the same thing I have, if your card also has the heatsink that extends out the back of the card.

I suggest that the OP gets MSI Afterburner and crank the fan speed up! The temps are too high, IMHO! Looks like that's causing the instability!
