@GreiverBlade

Well I am not jelly at all, the network I my connection at home connects is at the moment it's running 10 Tbit sadly I cannot provide any speedtests, because I am not allowed access to it :( (But it's insanely fast).

So I will just be happy with my cheap 300/60 Mbit for about £23,7 / $29 a month. It's the cheapest connection available here where I live.

I have 200/20 cable, paying 60 EUR/month with TV channels , online TV in Europe as well, my contract ends in April this year.
Moving to another provider, I will get 1Gb fiber + TV channels (and online TV in Europe) first 6 months 35 EUR, after that 67 EUR/month.

Mine is without TV but I share online TV with my dad, I just use my Apple TV 4K 2gen and it works fine.

I can get 1gbit fiber but it's not dedicated p2p it's shared over a open net which only have about 1.2Gbps in upload per line and they over book the shit over it so a lot of fiber providers actually do 1000/500 Mbit to ensure they can keep up and in some areas they can do 2.5Gbit up and down but that is p2p.

Issue are here every company needs access to every area so the main provider the electricity companies don't want the expensives them self and the goverment wanted it open so sadly I lost interrest in fiber because my last even 500/500 Mbit got ruined and only did 280/280 Mbit 24/7 because it got a bad routing after being moved back and forwards on a couple of central hubs that the isp own.

About $10/mo internet around here. There's some companies offering 10Gbps residential, geez. I wonder why you'd even need that much.

Like honestly, what do you even do with 10Gbps? lmao (Price it's around $70/mo)

You got 600/600? Or should it be 1G/1G?

Should be 500/500, but you always get a tad more.

That's what I pay for, at least. Some days I do get 1G/1G lol

EDIT: Oh, they upgraded me to 600/600. That's the cheapest plan now.

Jeez, up here in the US we pay for 1G and get half of that.

Real-world of course, speed test always shows up around 1G.

Hi,
Yeah xfinity they might be on borrowed time but still better to deal with than at&t
Can't wait to see what amazon comes up with

After the 300/60Mbit connect got a price dump by 45% from the middle of next month so the price goes from about £23 / €27 / 29USD.

My new price would be £32,50 for the 300/60Mbit and the 1000/60Mbit is only £2,33 more a month and the price tag is £34,83 I asked to try it out even my experience with the gigabit download on coax ain't the best but so far after I re did my cat7 cable routing in my apartment this evening I get constant 700-860Mbps so I shouldn't really complain ;)

My UK IP

I wanted to go back to fibre but not gonna pay £44-46,50 a month depending on which isp I choose and the one I really want haven't finished their agreement with the company that owns the fibre cables and centrals in the part of my country, but my coax uses the company I want to get as my main ISP to route their internet through so I do not complain.

Testing directly with my isp

Changed ISP. At least now I don't get CGNAT'd :P (~16usd/mo)

95 usd with unlimited data.

I’m on the 500/500 plan on Google Fiber, but I often get more than that, and almost 1000 up sometimes. It’s still good cause I sync new RAW files to cloud storage, so fast upload speeds are quite welcome.

I pay that for FTTH 2000/2000Mbps unlimited data, Americans are getting shafted with their upload speeds cable sucks balls fiber is the way to go unless you live in the sticks then go starlink with Elon Musk's offering
