Downloaded gpu driver released today and started noticing issues immediately on Asus Strix 1060. It still worked but Asus software didn't want to function. Aura (RGB control) no longer found a device it could control even after updating Armoury Crate.

Attempts to revert to 473.62 bring up an error message stating no applicable device is installed.

Just a heads up it might impact other cards as well.

Works as intended my on ASUS TUF OC RTX 3090. Performance is good, nothing bad to report thus far. I'll keep an eye if I hear anything on Discord about it and let you know, man.

In the meantime, maybe try a DDU + NVCleanstall, that usually gets all the filth out of the way. GL

latest drivers work great on my 1070.

you may need to back up your stuff and do a clean install. sometimes windows just needs help cause its special like that.

Just to be clear, there appears to be no impact to gpu functionality beyond software control. Meaning fan I had plugged into card no longer functions and RGB is at factory settings.

Definitely a conflict between this latest driver and Asus. I suspect a fix will arrive shortly.

Will give it a bit before attempting that. Like about +5 F since I don't have many fan headers on the mobo.

Edit: This may have been heat related mental fatigue or ???

What I do know now is one of those screenshots above shows a Windows 7 driver and reverting to a few month old version solved my issues. :kookoo:
