I have a ryzen 5 5600x, with a be quiet 650w, hyperX 16gbs 3200mhz. Im now with gtx a 1660 ti. Im looking for a gpu upgrade. My budget is from 300$ to 650$. I stopped at the rtx 3070, but i think there will be bottleneck, cuz im playing on 1080p.

there could be insufficient GPU usage, because of low resolution. Yes, depend on game and blah blah blah, but, overall, it's good combo. We are starting to notice that 16 gb is becoming not so good already, so for pairing 3070 and 5600x you could also buy another 16 gb or swap for 32 gb.

Thx So much. I could spend some money with buying the new RTX 4060 Ti and after this buying a 1440p montior. I know alot of people will say that the rtx 4060 ti is trash, but i find it good tbh. I know that the 8gbs of VRAM will make a problem in the future.

I was also looking buying the 6700XT, but in my country there are not many models. I've heard that the phantom gaming have some problems so idk

depends on the price. if you could find 3070 in a well condition way cheaper than 4060 ti then it's way beter. And, I hope you have B550 mobo to get PCI-E 4.0 x8 properly working, otherwise your 4060ti will be trash. I don't know or believe in all these "magic" with pci-e 4.0 working on B450...

a 3070 is a nice gpu for 1080 or 1440..

trog

uff that hurt. I have a Asrock b450m steel legend mobo.

Used 3080 or new 4070.

I wouldn't go for a 4060/Ti when the budget allows to avoid these.

if you say so but cheapest 4070 is 1250 bgn or 700 usd or you can get a used 3080 Ti 12GB but the power usage is 400 Watts. I wouldn't pay above 500 usd for any such card that draws above 200W.

there is the sapphire 6700 xt at 412 usd.

Sry for replying on this later, but is 650w enough for the 3070?

With a $650 budget there's really nothing above $400 that's worth considering until the 4070.

If you can stretch to $700 then definitely the 4070, otherwise 4060 Ti for $400.

I wouldn't bother with used/new last generation cards such as the 3080 or 6700 XT.

Yes. But don't buy an Ampere card in 2023.

I have the same GPU as you and I plan to get the ASUS RTX 4060 Dual, when it will be in stock at retailers and if it's priced below 350 Euros.

Thx, but i really cannot stretch to 700$, becuase i bearly get to the 650$ i even found the rtx 3070 for

I think i'm going to stick with the rx 6700 xt. I think the model phantom gaming is good. It says that u need 700w, but i have 650w idk if it will be enough.

I got 3070 Ti in 2023 1Q or late 2022 used and happy with it..... only this summer prices for GPUs started to drop drastically, if you are have some "budget limit", then you better check every variant (used/new), if you are free in cash then get a 4080 and it's ok...

If i had smt i could live with and have used for long time, i would suggest waiting until 24 nov ie Black Friday

my 3070ti is 290w. Simple power limit to 90% makes it perfectly drink 260w only. No problems in performance. And there are people who undervolt properly and could have way better results lol. Powerful cards require power, and it's a desktop lmfao. If for work/mining, yes, you CONSIDER power draw. If for games, unless for 24/7 gaming club, I wouldn't care lol...

yes but we don't know what will be in 4 months, just now I see prices are good of course if I had to spend $500 now I've got brand new 4000 series card, but at the end of last year or beginning of this, prices were crazy and I'm happy I found 3070ti used for reasonable money.

Yes of course I was comparing 3080 Ti 12GB to the nearest match of 4070 12GB but even with power limit set to 80% 1800 Mhz @ 0,85V it would still be dumping 300 Watts of heat. If you consider 3080 Ti and get lucky as I'm yet to see a fair price, you get 50% better performance at the same price as the 6700 XT. Prices are in free fall. It would be unwise to buy something now. unless you are desperate for the summer.

Also if you live in us this a the deal right now
PowerColor Fighter AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT Gaming Graphics Card with 12GB GDDR6 Memory for $300 (was $469) at Amazon

Yes, because that's such a good time to shop for a video card in Bulgaria. :wtf:

i would of gone RX6800, which are around $500, only possible issue would be the power supply but should be able to get one for around $100.

Amazon are doing a deal though their prime for some that put them a little under $500.

Other wise be better just waiting it out as a 1660 is not that bad of a card.

Honestly how you are a staff member on this site with your continued biased and BS posts is beyond me, who proof reads the "proofreader"?
