there are several models that have similar specs, including Xiaomi ones.

Is there any way this could be decent for such a low price? Or has the glut of insanely priced game pads warped my mind?

These are all made in 1 factory. They all have the same traits of gamesir t4 which I have a wired version off.

They will be dirt cheap in no time.

hall is why some one should get it though well if it's done right.

yeah. It would be nice if you could do a swap replacement from analog to hall.
Im sure down the road it will be possible.

They made a set for steamdeck though.

Is there one of these that uses the hall sensors but has the series x style d-pad (circular and uses metal dome switches on the pcb)?

Even better, is there one that uses the dome switches for the face buttons as well?

second option. Mechanical face buttons feel very snappy and hall stick feel very accurate. Speaking as an owner of one of those chinese controllers (MOBAPAD chitu HD)

See, *that* actually looks like a controller I'd hold in my hands.
The LEDs even make sense as accent and 'attention-grabbers' for the YBAX buttons.

Someday maybe, I'll upgrade away from my Xbox 360 controllers. Thing is, I so rarely play games that need a gamepad (and so casually when I do), I don't really care about having a top-notch gamepad.
Heck, even my Thrustmaster HOTAS Jstick + Pedals just sits until I get around to my roughly annual re-play of Freespace 2 (and mods).
