AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT Reference Design Pictured

It's just estimation in data base. Nothing to lose your head over until professional reviews are out.
That one will lose its head over the wildest, most unsubstantiated nonsense. Then it'll tell everyone else that said nonsense is facts. This is why I hate people.

It ran at like 80-82C stock, when overclocked it would hit 100C. Hot spot temperatures increase disproportionally with power consumption it seems, on water at stock it runs at about 60-65C but then once overclocked it shoots up to 70-75C even though the edge temperature stays almost the same.

This goes to a page not found for me, I guess it's location dependent.

That's so weird then. My current MBA 7900XTX (stock HSF) idles at 45C and 54C hotspot. When on load (Apex Legends, 300Hz, FreeSync disabled) it can go up to 75C & 86C hotspot in a heavy fight. I never expected the MBA 7900 XT to have this problem since it was not an issue compared to the XTX.

Here is what it looks like if you're not able to get the page to load:

I'm wondering if this cooler design is gonna be enough considering that the reference 6750 XT has three fans that are already barely adequate.

I disagree, I have the MSI 6750XT MECH 2X with just 2 fans and it's okay under full load.
I can confirm this as well. My MSI 6750XT Mech 2x is not very loud and doesn't go over 70c at full load. Some TPU'ers warned me not to get it because it was the low end cooler model. My experience has been great. I've wondered what temps I would get if I re-pasted.

More claims? Is it really so hard to wait for some hard facts before making a judgement?

It's safe to speculate that the performance of the two will be more or less very close, so one will cancel the existence of the other.
You will see.

Maybe I will see. So what? All I'm saying is, be wise and wait for reviews before passing a judgement.

All I'm saying is that you don't need to see the reviews. Everything is clear today.
No, it's not. You can estimate, but you can't know for sure. If you prefer to sink the ship before it has left the port, then be my guest. I'll wait for the reviews.

7800XT and 7700XT will be separated by at least 15% performance wise. Even the slides with internal testing show close to 20% difference. The pricing as weird as it seems, might have more to do with yields being more than good and AMD wanting to drive more people to the full-die iteration of N32. And maybe another reason would be the stock of 6700XT being still enough and after it dries out the price will fall close to $400.

AMD's own slides https://www.techpowerup.com/img/fvP3iG7s4N0FkIDk.jpg
show that RX 7800 XT 16GB 3.52% on average faster than RTX 4070 12GB.

shows that RX 7700 XT 12GB is 12.2% on average faster than RTX 4060 Ti 8/16GB.

Yea, around 15-17% performance difference between RX 7700 XT 12GB and RX 7800 XT 16GB for 50$ price difference.
STOP PASSING OFF PROJECTIONS AS FACTS YOU GOD DAMN MORON.

To the moderators: why is the crazy troll above ^^^^ still lurking around and allowed to post all kind of nonsense and hate speech?

No.

You are the one posting lies as facts.
You are the one being fundamentally dishonest.
You are the one spreading FUD about GPU performance, then accusing people of disagreeing with your made-up BS of being "trolls".
You are the troll.

The asshole says that I'm "dishonest" and I'm lying. Where are the lies and what am I "dishonest" about?
Ridiculous crazy troll is that assimilator asshole
